Project data and local storage
The calculators run in your browser. Project names, material names, dimensions, quantities, and generated layouts are not sent to a CutList.net server for calculation. If you use Save, the latest project is stored locally in your browser. Clearing browser site data can remove that saved project.
When you download a project, CSV, SVG, or print report, the file is created by your browser. You control where it is saved and whether it is shared. We do not receive a copy through that action.
Usage measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand site visits and broad tool usage. GA4 may set or read cookies and receive standard device, browser, and visit information, such as pages viewed and approximate interaction timing. Google processes this information under its own privacy policies.
We may record broad usage information when someone uses a calculator, opens an example, saves a project, or exports a result. We do not intentionally send project names, part dimensions, material names, uploaded file contents, or complete parts lists to GA4. We do not use site analytics to personalize advertising.
How information is used
Local project data is used only by the calculator in your browser. Analytics information is used to understand whether the site and its features are working and to improve them. We do not sell project data or use it to build a profile of your woodworking projects.
Your choices
You can clear saved projects through your browser’s site-data controls. You can also block or delete analytics cookies in your browser, use a privacy extension, or disable JavaScript; the latter will prevent the interactive calculators from running. Cookie and browser controls are managed by your browser provider.
