TERMS OF USE · LAST UPDATED OCTOBER 2025

Use the plan. Verify the cut.

These terms explain the conditions for using CutList.net and its free cutting-plan calculators.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using CutList.net, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the site. We may revise these terms as the site develops; the date above indicates the latest revision.

The service

CutList.net provides browser-based planning tools for rectangular sheet goods and linear stock. The tools generate suggested cutting layouts and lists from the values you enter. They are provided free of charge, without an account, and may be changed, paused, or discontinued at any time.

You are responsible for your inputs and for deciding whether a result is suitable for your project. Results can vary with material size, kerf, trim, grain, stock availability, and the limits of the planning method. A result is not a fabrication drawing, engineering advice, or a guarantee of the least possible waste.

Safe use

Cutting wood, sheet goods, metal, pipe, and other materials can be hazardous. Measure your actual stock and equipment, check every dimension and cut order, and follow the instructions, guards, and safety practices appropriate to your tools and materials. Do not rely on the site for machine setup, workholding, minimum safe cut sizes, blade selection, structural design, or compliance requirements.

Your content and permitted use

You keep ownership of the project information you enter. You may use the generated plans for personal or commercial projects. Do not use the site in a way that disrupts it, misuses its features, interferes with other visitors, or violates applicable law.

The site’s software, design, text, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Other than using the service as intended, these terms do not grant a license to copy, resell, or create a competing service from site materials.

Disclaimers and liability

CutList.net is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free results, or that a plan will fit your material, equipment, or intended use.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CutList.net is not liable for material loss, inaccurate cuts, equipment damage, injury, lost profits, or other damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the site. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
